We always recommend white and maybe play on the packaging. Confetti must be accompanied by a note bearing the bride's name as the first name, followed by the groom's name and the wedding date. Never write the couple's surname.

But what to give to guests together with the favor?

Someone says that there are no limits to the imagination, but it would be better to rely on professionals who know how to combine the wedding favor with the wedding theme, creating the right harmony.

The classic choices are objects that act as ornaments, useful objects, just a few examples of empty pockets, saucers, room fragrances. But you could aim, without breaking the budget, at other types of gifts that point to local products such as honey of organic origin, oil, wine, tea bags or flavored chocolate bars.

Of course, every gift that accompanies the favor must be packaged with colors that are in harmony with the theme of the wedding. Some couples choose "solidarity" favors, it is a choice in favor of organizations involved in the social sector. Very often these are handmade objects, accompanied by a description of the solidarity activities and the purpose of the organization that will enjoy the proceeds.

This last choice is not foreseen by the etiquette because the charity should be done anonymously, however, we believe that anything that brings an advantage to the weak more than compensates for the broken rule of etiquette.

When to order wedding favors

You will order the favors at least 2 months before the wedding. The number to be ordered should be greater than that of families present at the event. It would be nice to keep those to give to the children who will come, but also to avoid surprises, the neighbor could bring you a gift and it would be very kind to thank you with the gift of a wedding favor.

The etiquette wants the favor to be given as a gift and accompanied by a thank you note, written by the bride in hand, within twenty days following the wedding date. This rule is now obsolete and couples prefer to donate the favor at the end of the reception as a sign of thanks.

The favors must all be the same, only those given to parents, siblings or bridesmaids and witnesses can make exceptions.
